FILM

This secion details all of the film projects I have done previously, with as much information as I could find/remember about them. It also lists the work I'm currently doing at the moment (which at the moment includes two short films which I hope to complete by 2010 - time permitting!).

I've loved film ever since I saw "Back to the Future Part 3" in that wonderful old Robins Cinema in Dunfermline. The sight, smell & experience of being in that darkened room and watching the latest films and stories was brilliant. What I love about film is it's capability to tell a story that means something, and in doing so, transport you to far away forests, planets and times.

Most of all - a good film will inspire debate. I love talking about films, whether positively or negatively, and I will always strive to create a film that leaves you thinking. I'd hate to be the 'pastel' of films! Here's some of my favourite films and some of the other things I've posted on YouTube recently.

Things To Do In Tesco When You're Bored

This was made by me, and three of my friends (Doogie, Kelly & Suzanne) when we were bored one night.

We thought we would film some hi-jinks and tomfoolery around our local Tesco in Dunfermline but were stopped halfway through (hence why we never go further than the fruit & veg section!).

Thanks to Tesco for letting me post this bit of fun.

HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH

One of my favourite films of all time, HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH explores themes of love, redepmtion & inner self through humour and fantastic songs.

Directed by John Cameron Mitchell and released in the UK in 2001, this has had a big influence on my filming style.

Enjoy! x
